A chance introduction to an art form called Bharathanatyam changed my world forever. It has changed the way I understand God, the way I perceive the world and understand people. Bharathnatyam is my 'marga', my path to 'moksha'. My Guru Smt. Poornima has been a source of strength and inspiration in this most fulfilling, but challenging journey. A teacher whose passion is translated to me in every nuance, in every class, in every loving gesture and word. A mother who accepted her prodigal child, I am indeed blessed to have her as my teacher, guide and mentor. I am a dancer because of my Guru.
